Accelerate the impact of conservation in the Monadnock region!

What is Building a Resilient Future about?

The Monadnock Conservancy is raising money to accelerate the impact of conservation in our region. There is an urgent need to expand our efforts, conserve more land of greater environmental value, and be a more present partner in our local and regional communities. We need your help to make this possible.

Why now?

The demand for conservation is only growing, and at our current staff capacity, we don't have the resources to keep up. If we want to meet this demand, we need to act.

How will we put this money to work?

We will use this money in two ways: First, we will hire additional staff to help us conserve more land and ensure our ability to manage the properties we currently own or hold easements on in perpetuity. Secondly, we are building a new headquarters on a donated lot adjacent to Ashuelot River Park. This new space will reflect our values as an organization in terms of green architecture and design, it will be a resource for our community in the region, and it will serve as a hub for regional conservation efforts.

The big match

Every dollar donated to this campaign will have a 1 to 1 match up to $500,000 from an anonymous foundation. Which this match, your donation to Building a Resilient Future will be doubled!
