A flyer showing a movie camera. The text reads "Nature Movie Night! The Mighty Weasel, thursday, December 5th, Putnam Theater, Keene State College"

The weasel family is often associated with unsavory behavior – we “badger” people, “ferret” out the enemy, and “weasel” out of obligations – but do these critters deserve their bad reputations? Decide for yourself during a big-screen showing of this enlightening PBS Nature documentary, which explores the real lives of much-maligned mustelids across the world – including species found right in our own backyards. Following the film, Harris Center naturalist and weasel admirer Susie Spikol will be on hand for questions, along with some weasely selections from the Harris Center’s natural history collection.

7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Putnam Theater at Keene State College. Registration is encouragedFor more information, including questions about accessibility, contact Brett Amy Thelen from the Harris Center.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education, the Monadnock Conservancy, and the KSC Film Society.
